Welcome to the Pottsgrove School District’s website!  We are working hard to communicate more effectively with you, and hope you’ll find our website useful, helpful, and informative.

The Pottsgrove School District’s mission is to educate and inspire all students to excel as productive, responsible citizens and life-long learners. Last year, we had the pleasure of educating approximately 3,200 students.

Pottsgrove continues to consistently perform above state and national averages on standardized tests. We strive to provide an education that maximizes each student’s learning potentials, while meeting the challenges that each student faces. We maintain high standards for all students and staff, and are continually working to update and improve our curriculum and teaching strategies.
More than 450 members of our professional, administration, and support staff work diligently to pursue their passion: the education of our children.  More than 70 percent of our teachers have master’s degrees or higher.

We consider our parents and community members to be essential partners in education. Our pursuit of excellence in the Pottsgrove School District is relentless, and we hope you will join us as we strive to ever-increasing levels of achievement.

Please take a moment to click around our website, and be sure to let us know what you think about it or how we can improve it by emailing our webmaster at:  falcon@pgsd.org

Here’s to a great 2009-10 school year!

Sincerely,
Dr. Bradley C. Landis, Superintendent of Schools
