Congratulations to the Pottsgrove Boys Cross Country Team on capturing it's first PAC-10 Championship in school history on Thursday afternoon at Daniel Boone Homestead. The Boy's finished with a league record of 8 wins and 1 loss. However, they saved their best for when it counted most. At today's Championship meet, the team (or as they refer to themselves, THE PACK) dominated the field with a total team effort.
A special congratulations to Head Coach, Larry Rechtin and his Assistant Coach, Marilyn Eaton on this most outstanding accomplishment. Coach Rechtin has coached Pottsgrove Cross-Country and Track for better than 20 years, developing outstanding runners and competitors year after year.
And as an added bonus, the Pottsgrove Cross Country team was also voted the Sportsmanship Award by their fellow league coaches. Once again proving that, good sports can also be outstanding competitors..
Congratulations Coaches Rechtin and Eaton on a job well done!! And to the student-athletes - you have made Pottsgrove proud of both your talents and your behavior - AWESOME JOB!!!
