Mr. Holladay was born in DeLand, Florida and grew up in North Carolina and West Virginia. He currently resides in Pottstown, Pennsylvania with his wife Erin, his two sons Benjamin and Evan, and daughter Ryann Olivia. He received his B.S. degree in Music Education at West Chester University in West Chester, PA where he was a double major in Instrumental and Vocal Music. He also received his M.M. degree in Music Education from West Chester University where he was a Graduate Assistant in the Instrumental Music, Music Education, and Music History Departments. He has also done post-graduate work at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In addition to his Graduate Assistantship teaching duties, Mr. Holladay is currently in his 25th year as a public school music educator. He taught for 2 years in the highly acclaimed music department of the Valdosta City Schools in Valdosta, Georgia. He spent 12 years in the Coatesville Area School District in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, and is currently in his 11th year as the Director of High School Instrumental Activities in the Pottsgrove School District in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
While at West Chester University, Mr. Holladay completed the requirements of a Double Major in Instrumental and Vocal Music. He is often called on to perform in various venues as a vocal soloist. He has served as the Master of Ceremonies at the July 4th Independence Day Parade in Washington, DC for the past 12 years, where he also opens the parade each year with the singing of God Bless America.
