Math
Check out the new Everyday Math website! It now includes tutorials that show you and your children how to systematically work through problems using the methods they are taught in class. It also includes every EDM game the students play at school, but it is now virtual! Students have usernames so we can track their progress, however, you don't need these for the tutotials; just click Free Resources.
Here are documents that we use in Everyday Math. It has copies of math journal pages, math messages, as well as mental math reflexes and homework assignments.
Find and click the unit your child is currently working on. From there, scroll down to the specific lesson for tips on what Student Reference Book pages could be used and partial answer keys for each Study Link page.
Use the table of contents to find the skill or topic you wish to work on. You can read to learn more about the topic, practice using the skill, then apply it while playing a math game.
A Plus Math This website has plenty to help you sharpen your math skills. You can play games, search for worksheets for additional problems, or practice flashcards that focus on skills we are working on in class.
Have you ever wondered why manholes are round and not triangular? Access this website to try to answer challenging, real-life questions like this using math skills to support your answer. Hints are available along the right side of the page and you can check your answers along the top.

Check out this news website that directly targets children close to/in their teens. Using your username and password, read any article you find interesting along with some responses other children have posted. Post your own response on how you feel about the content of the article using proper grammar and sentence structure (spell check is included in the toolbar).
Language Arts
This is a great website to visit to view a tutorial on any grammar skill we cover. Simply search for the skill, click on it, study the rules, and look over examples to help you with your own work.

Science
Looking for some addition science activities to stimulate your mind. Edheads allows you to explore science related topics such as weather, simple machines, bodily functions, and even allows you to perform your own virtual surgery.
This is a great website that provides more facts about all of the biomes around the world, including freshwater/saltwater ecosystems. Simply click on the biome you wish to study more and explore all of the research provided such as descriptions, types of plants and animals within, and locations around the world.
Social Studies
This is a great website that has tons of resources pertaining to the Revolutionary War. Take a look at timelines of important events to detailed illustrations with descriptions of the causes of the Revolution.
This is an interactive game that tests your knowledge of events that led to the Revolutionary War.
Cross Curricular
Just like the hit television show, this game provides questions that increase in complexity as the money gets bigger. Question topics are pulled from every subject in school so it will definitely provide a well-rounded review for you.
