Welcome to 4th Grade!

We're going to have a great year filled with a lot of learning and fun!  Please check out my webpage for class information and updates!

Meet Mrs. Cross...
I am a graduate of Temple University, where I received my degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.  After earning my undergraduate degree I began taking courses at Holy Family University, where I later earned my Masters Degree in Education with a Reading Specialist and Special Education certificate.  My first teaching position was at Silver-Springs Martin Luther School in Plymouth Meeting, PA., a school for students with special needs.  I taught there for two years before accepting my position here at Lower.  This is now my fourth year teaching at Lower Pottsgrove and I am loving it. Now you know a little about me and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you :)

What Learning Support looks like in 4th grade...

In 4th grade, in order to meet the all the students needs and provide instruction in the least restrictive environment, some students will be receiving support in the regular education classroom and some will be receiving it in the Learning Support classroom.  The students that have in class support will have my classroom aide, Miss Kurtz, who is also a certified teacher, in the room with them to modify and support the students as needed.  The other students will be coming to the Learning Support classroom to receive small group instruction, with modified curriculum, on their level.

Miss Kurtz and I are looking forward to working with all our new families and having a great year!
