These are some of the supplies you will need to have in third grade.  

 

Pencils (Mechanical pencils are ok as long as we aren't doing surgery on them in class)

Small, personal pencil sharpeners are not necessary since we have a class sharpener. 

Crayons 

Markers 

We use glue sticks for almost everything.  We have a large class supply so it's not necessary to buy unless you would like to have personal supplies.

Scissors - We have a large class supply, but if you would like your own personal scissors, it's fine, but we will be collecting them and keeping them in a box in the closet rather than in our desks.

A pencil box would be great to keep all items listed above organized. 

 

I will be supplying folders for homework and work-in-progress.  Many students like to use large binders to help them organize folders, etc. Please keep in mind that these very large binders do not fit inside the desks and cubbies are shared by students.  

 

 I will also be supplying writing journals for morning work, reading / language arts, and math
