All world language offerings are oriented to the college
bound student. They are in-depth studies of grammatical structure and cultures.
Modern languages include, but are not limited to conversational skills. It is
strongly recommended that non-college preparatory students have a “C” or higher
in previous English classes for any beginning level of world language course of
instruction. Selection of a particular language should be based not only on
interest, but also on a student’s future educational plans and on information
in the description for each world language course.
