POTTSGROVE
HIGH SCHOOL STAGES COMEDY “RADIO DAZE”
Pottsgrove High
School takes us back to the 1940s in the comedy Radio Daze, slated for
7:30 PM on Friday and Saturday, March 16 and 17 in the Dr. Radel
Auditorium. The search is on for a
German spy who has infiltrated a radio station known for its melodramatic soap
opera, Dreams and Delusions.
With the war on,
everyone is on alert when a special agent sets a trap to flush out a spy in
their midst. There are many possible
suspects, such as two new writers not in the army for lame reasons, three
man-hungry actresses, a janitor who sweeps everywhere, and the Swindle sisters
who own the station. Complicating
matters are two over-the-hill actors afraid of losing their jobs if the show
moves to television and a nervous sponsor who places his two daughters
undercover in jobs to safeguard his investment.
