PTO Spring Fundraiser is about to begin. Watch for the fundraising packet to arrive home around February 10th. All orders need to be returned with payment to the school by March 1st. The sale is the Market Day Lifestyles fundraising catalog which has a large variety of different items from plant bulbs, to wrapping paper, to kitchen items, to candy, even jewelry. There is truly something for everyone. Delivery will be March 26th. You can place orders online as well at

Father Daughter Dance!! - Friday February 17th from 7 PM to 9 PM Ringing Rocks PTO is calling all 3rd through 5th grade girls to spend a beautiful evening with their Dads! Join us Friday, February 17, 2012 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the cafeteria! Dads & Daughters will spend the evening dancing to the music from the DJ, snacking and will even get a picture that you get to keep as a souvenir (given at a later date). Cost is $10 per couple.

We are looking for Christmas lights for the Father Daughter Dance! Christmas Lights Needed! We are looking to get some new lights for the Father/Daughter Dance...Anyone who is out and about sees some inexpensive/on sale Christmas lights and wants to pick up some and donate them or if anyone has extras lying around the house they are not using anymore. Not the icicle just regular strings of lights. Thanks in advance!
The Yearbook staff would love to have any pictures you have taken at school functions for possible inclusion in the yearbook! Please email them to rocksyearbook@gmail.com or send them into school on a CD addressed to PTO Yearbook. Deadline is March 23rd to make it into the yearbook. Keep an eye out for the Yearbook order form to arrive home. There are some wonderful NEW options this year. The Yearbook will have more pages and for the first time ever you have the option of getting a “year in review” DVD set to accompany your child’s yearbook which will include pictures not in the yearbook as well as chronicle event that occur after the yearbook goes to print!
Drop off MOVIE NIGHT was another success! The Movie was "Kung Fu Panda 2”. It was our first movie night back in the renovated school! Thank you to the volunteers who came out to help make this event such a success! We couldn’t do this without the volunteers. You are greatly appreciated! So if you have a Target RedCard (credit card or debit card) you can designate Ringing Rocks to benefit from your purchases at Target PLUS get 5% off your purchases every day! You can send in your Redner’s Save-a-tape receipts and box tops into the school at any time.
March 1st ~ is our next Monthly PTO meeting. Please join us in the Library at 7PM. Attending the meetings is the best way to get your ideas heard and have a say in the events and activities we plan for your children. Hope to see you there!
