Third grade is a year of transitions.  This year and in the coming school years, kids move from “learning to read” to “reading to learn,” and “learning to write” to “writing to communicate.”  As we move through the year we encourage the development of skills and the development of independence.  Your help in encouraging this growth will be greatly appreciated.
