The Library Media Center Program supports the strategic goals of the Pottsgrove School District.  All district library media centers will empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. The print and online media collection support the school curriculum and provide students, staff and patrons with valuable resources to meet their educational goals.  The Library Media Center Program strives to develop learning agility for all of our students. 
The Pottsgrove Middle School Library is dedicated to supporting information literacy and
promoting the enjoyment of reading as a lifelong habit.
Our library is proud to offer 17,000 books to our students. There are also 26 computers with internet access. We subscribe to the Pottstown Mercury.

The Pottsgrove Middle School Library is a member of ACCESS PA which allows our students and faculty to obtain books from other libraries throughout Pennsylvania.

Hours and Policies
The Middle School Library is open from 8:00-3:15 p.m. Students are encouraged to visit the library throughout the day. Use of the library during 9th period is limited to those student who make reservations prior to 1:00. Students must sign in and out of the library at all times.

Loan period: Books and magazines loaned for a three week period (books may be renewed once)
Reference Material is loaned overnight only

Fines: .05/day for books and magazines
.50/day for Reference Material
 Follett Shelf is a collection of ebooks available to students on their ipad.  To access, download the Brytewave K12 app.  The school code is  The student's user name is their Power School/lunch code.  Their password is their birthday in the following format MDYYY (ie May 18, 2003 would be 5182003).
