Student Directed Play 2017

The Student Directed Play has become a positive tradition at PGHS which aligns with our No Place for Hate Certification.  The goal of this play is to provide students an opportunity to write a play that is performed in front of the student body and community which aligns to the principles of No Place for Hate at Pottsgrove High School.  You can learn more about No Place for Hate at

2017 Topic or Area of Focus for the Play - Race

Students must complete the application by April 1, 2017.  All applications must include a link to the full transcript of the play.  This should be done by writing or uploading the transcript into Google Docs.  At least two teachers must preview your work before submitting it and you must share the names of the teachers who reviewed the play at the top of the script.  

Once submitted, a panel of educators will review your work, select the play, and notify applicants.  


Play Performance will be in April or May 2017
