    West Pottsgrove Elementary Kindergarten is a full-day program.  Our Language Arts program is based on the Reading Wonders K-5 curriculum.  Children will be involved in literacy and mathematics activities throughout the day.  Guided Reading groups are an important part of our Literacy Block.  We use the Math in Focus K-5 curriculum program to involve the students in hands-on mathematical concepts. Social development is also an important component of our full-day program. We use the Second Step Program for our social and emotional learning (SEL) lessons.  FOSS Science is our hands-on investigative Science curriculum.  Students also receive instruction in special areas or Encore Class during our 6-day cycle:  (Library, Art, Music, Computer, Health, and Physical Education)
