I am a first grade teacher at West Pottsgrove Elementary School.  I attended Susquehanna University.  I have my master's degree in Elementary Education and I have been teaching for 20 years.    I really enjoy teaching first grade because there is so much learning that takes place in one year!  Many kiddos come into first grade and are unable to read simple words and by the time they leave they are reading stories fluently!  It really is exciting to see!  I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education.   I live in Bechtelsville with my wonderful family:  My husband, Kevin, my 12 year old daughter, Erin, and my 8 year old son, Nathan.   My favorite part of teaching is the expression that children get on their faces when they finally understand something..that 'a ha moment', when the lightbulb goes on.  It's a wonderful thing to see.  It's those moments that I look forward to everyday!
