Attendance

  • Taking Attendance


    • Log into PowerTeacher
    • Click on chair to enter the Attendance screen
    • If ALL students are present, scroll to the bottom right and click SUBMIT.
    • If students are absent click on the drop-down box (attendance codes) and choose "AU (Absent Unexcused)". Click in the box nest to the name of the student who is absent. An AU code will automatically be entered for you. Do this for each absent student.
    • If you make a mistake, click on the drop-down box and change it back to "Present" and click back in the box of the student you wish to change.
    • When you are all finished, scroll to the bottom right and click SUBMIT.

    Items to remember:

    • Do NOT use the TUC or TEC codes in the DA period only for use in the meeting (numbered) periods.
    • If a student in not listed in your DA period that is in on your 1st period roster please notify April Koss or Jacque Kakareka immediately so that we can correct the problem.
