Good morning Pottsgrove Middle School!  Welcome to Monday, September 16, 2019. Today is DAY B and the 14th day of the 2019-2020 school year.    Would you all please rise and push in your chairs... We will first have our moment of silence to be directly followed by our Pledge to the Flag.  And now for our moment of silence… And now our pledge to the flag... “I pledge allegiance to the flag…” Our Falcon Four is something that we should all strive for each and everyday. The third part of our Falcon four is to Be Respectful!  What does being respectful look like? Great question! Once again if you can come up with at least one way to be more respectful send me an email with your example and I will personally put you in for a Golden Ticket to be drawn this Friday.  I am sure that EVERYONE in our building could come up with a way to be more respectful. Oh wow. Guess what today is? Today is National Play-doh Day. I used to love playing with play-doh. I used to like putting it in those little plastic squeezers and you could squeeze out a fake meal of spaghetti and pretend you were eating it.  I loved playing with my children. I remember though telling them not to eat the play-doh and not to get it in our carpet. What a mess sometimes! Anyhow, did you know that today is the anniversary of the start of Gandhi beginning his fast in protest of the caste system in India. “This is a god-given opportunity that has come to me,” Gandhi said from his prison cell at Yerovda, “to offer my life as a final sacrifice to the downtrodden.”
