Spark A Reaction Summer ProgramSUMMER CAMPSCamp Rainbow> Located in Schwenksville, PA, they provide a safe, physical and emotional, overnight camping experience to deserving children of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, that will contribute to positive youth and adolescent development toward becoming successful, productive adults. For ages 7-16.Camp Millie> Run by the Center for Loss and Bereavemenr, located in Skippack, PA, the camp is a place where grieving children and young teens can find friendship, support, and feel less alone in their grief.Activity Hero> A website that encourages keeping kids active, it includes not only a search engine to browse for camps by age, activity, location, and frequency, but also allows for you to register on their site.Every summer, The Hill School hosts a variety of camps on its campus, ranging from athletic camps to academic camps; and day camps or overnight camps. Located just 2.5 hours from Philadelphia and 1.5 hours from New York City this 1,100 acre pristine Pocono Mountain oasis is where campers have fun, develop lifelong skills, build character, make lasting friendships, and connect with the natural world.Pennsylvania State Police Camp Cadet is a summer camp for boys and girls from Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia Counties between the ages of eleven to fourteen. The camp is held at Camp Kweebec, located in Limerick Township, Montgomery County and Girard College in the City of Philadelphia and staffed by State Troopers, Municpal Police Officers and other volunteers. The goal of Camp Cadet is to introduce young adults to the diverse criminal justice system and establish a positive relationsip with law enforcement personnel, while establishing a sense of pride, discipline, teamwork, integrity and self-respect.
Keep your child learning while having fun this summer!
Each week of camp features different activities including art, science, history and more! Camp is for students entering grades 1 – 8 and is from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday – Friday. Campers must bring their own lunch and snack.
