Hello! My name is Carolyn Springer.  This is my 6th year teaching first grade in Pottsgrove School District.  This is my 14th year teaching in total.  I have previously taught 1st grade in Fairfax County, VA, as well as 2nd and 5th grade in Tyrone, PA.  I grew up not too far from Pottsgrove and graduated from Methacton School District.  I continued my education at the University of Pittsburgh and received a degree in American History, a degree in Elementary Education K-6, a masters degree in Education and a certificate in Children's Literature. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my German Shepherd Shelby, watching Steelers football, reading, going to Penn State football games, and shopping.  I love to spend time shopping in Target and at the Outlets, and always make sure to stop by Starbucks for coffee when I'm there! :)
