Makerspaces are collaborative workshops where Pottsgrove students can gain practical hands-on experience with new technologies and innovative processes to design and build projects. The library has set aside this space to provide a flexible environment where learning is made physical by applying science, technology, math, and creativity to solve problems and build things. This is a place to learn how to 3D model, 3D print, knit and code. This creates learning opportunities for the youth and develops their interests in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) careers.
Take tech apart to examine functions and design. Kids can carefully disassemble, fix or repurpose items.
