makerspace
  • A Makerspace can be a physical location (in the classroom or its own separate space) or a cart that includes technology or materials that provides hands-on learning for students and educators.  Makerspaces allow students to create, collaborate, problem-solve and most of all just have fun.  You cannot fail in a makerspace.   It is a place to try new things, invent and know that the sky is the limit.  We teach our students to "fail up" and learn from their failures.  Failing in their 'First Attempt In Learning'.

There is a makerspace in every one of our elementary school buildings.  If you would like to donate items to be used in the makerspace, please contact me at jrandall@pgsd.org.
