Mrs. Autumn Kelly

Pottsgrove Middle School has been my teaching home since 2012.  I'm honored to lead the learning of our amazing 8th grade students (and some sneaky 7th graders) in Common Core 8, Honors Geometry, and Algebra 1 classes.  I'm also thrilled to expanding my own learning and leadership abilities among an incredible group of math teachers as the PGMS Math Department Coordinator.   Prior to PGMS I have 9 years experience teaching high school math courses ranging from Algebra 1 to Pre-Calculus in Montgomery County, Maryland.
I was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, just 16 miles north of Pottsgrove.  After high school I attended the University of Maryland on a field hockey scholarship and won a National Championship in 1999-Go TERPS!  My husband (a high school Statistics teacher) and I moved to PA back in 2012 where we raise our family in my home town of Macungie.
I love to read, coach my kids youth sports teams, and learn new ways to support my own kids as well as my students through the many challenges they face.  I believe my greatest strength is my passion to continue learning and my drive to grow as a person/mom/teacher.
