(excited),interrogative(question), imperative (command), statement (declarative).
Writing: COMPLETE this assignment (good copy) if you did not finish last week. Be sure to use your best handwriting.

1. Reading: Read for 30 minutes. Summarize what you read in one paragraph.
2. Spelling: Take your spelling "quiz". Have someone from home read you the spelling words (found below).
3. Grammar: Go back to the text that you read. Locate and list all of the sentences that have a prefix and/or a suffix. Make a T-Chart that shows words with prefixes on one side, and a word with suffixes on the other side.
4. Writing: Continue your writing project from yesterday. Compose (write) your final draft. Be sure to use your best handwriting. If your final draft is completed, read and record your final draft aloud. Do this while standing in front of a mirror, if you can. The goal is to be able to look up from your writing project when you can.

6. Math: Write down 5 number patterns. Be creative. Then, jot down the rule for each pattern. For example: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15. The rule is to add 3.
Make sure you are getting up and moving throughout the day! Take a quick walk with your family or try some yoga!
For those of you with internet access at home, you can access Study Island and complete assignments you have not finished or work in your learning path. If Mrs. Gauntlett is your teacher for all or part of the day: Log in to IXL.com in place of Study Island on a daily basis. Information, log-in, and passwords were sent home with your child. You can also request additional information as well as forgotten login/passwords through Mrs. Gauntlett's website and DOJO.

- If your simple machine has more than one type, which type did you build?
- Give at least (2) examples of when you might use this simple machine in real life.
