I started teaching in Harford County, Maryland right after college. There, I taught both learning support and emotional support classes for all subjects. After two years, my husband and I made the move to Pennsylania, and we have been here ever since.
I came to Pottsgrove Middle School in October 1999 and taught Learning Support classes. After two years, I transferred to the high school for four years (I wanted to experience teaching at that level). After four years, I realized that my heart belonged to the middle school level, and came back in the Spring of 2005.
My husband, Jason, is also in education. We have two children, Elizabeth and Addison. We have two four-legged family members, Macie and Jax, who are such a joy and keeps us on our toes!
In our spare time, we love to travel as a family. On my own, I enjoy reading, shopping, and just relaxing (without doing the laundry or dishes!).
