MCCC Dual Enrollment:

Pottsgrove High School has partnered up with the Montgomery County Community College to provide our students with this excellent opportunity.

Spring 2021 MCCC course through Pottstown campus (not PGHS campus)

Students planning on taking a Spring 2021 MCCC course through Pottstown campus (not PGHS campus),

On line registration is now available. Most courses are virtual, but some will be synchronous, including English Comp 102 OSA3 and English Comp 102 OSA4, offered MWF at 8AM.  Courses with an OSA notation are synchronous.  Here are the steps if you would like to register:

1 - Go to mc3.edu/de.  Scroll down and select "Register for a Course Taught at Montco".
2 -  If you have never applied with MCCC before, create an account and application.  If you have already taken a course with MCCC, skip to Part 2 of the on line instructions.
3 - If you plan to take English Comp 102 OSA 3 or 4, or you know the course and code of the class you want, skip to completing the On Line Registration Form in Part 3 of the on line instructions.  If you want to search for courses, click "Montco Course" and search for courses.  You can see the course description and any pre-requisites by clicking on the course.
4 - Click on line registration form and log into your account.  You will need your MCCC ID# for the registration form.  Complete the registration and alert your parent that they will receive a parental release in their email that they must complete for your registration to go through.  You can upload evidence of a pre-requisite exemption such as SAT or AP test scores if necessary.
5 - HS Counselor approval is not required, so be sure to connect with your counselor if you are unsure if the course is appropriate for your high school graduation needs.
*Once you register for a course, a bill will be sent to your MCCC online portal.  Course tuition and fees go directly to MCCC, and money does not come through Pottsgrove HS.
If you have any questions specific to MCCC or college credit, contact Brie Kulp at bkulp@mc3.edu.
