Pottsgrove Sports Athletic Registration

Available for students entering grades 7–12 for the 2026–2027 school year.

Fall Sports Athletic Registration is now open. Please note that the district has transitioned to a new registration platform. All athletic registrations will now be completed online through Arbiter.

This online registration platform will allow students and families who will be in grades 7–12 during the 2026–27 school year to register for sports and complete all required athletic department forms including PIAA CIPPE Sections 1–8 (athletic physical exam forms need to be uploaded once completed).

Important: The athletic department will not collect paper forms and you must create a new account with Arbiter to complete the Athletic Registration Process.

Arbiter Registration Steps

Arbiter has simplified the registration process, and all waivers are now signed digitally! Please be sure to follow these steps to complete your registration and ensure that your student is registered for athletic participation:

• Create an Arbiter Registration account (you only need one account for your whole family).
• Activate your Arbiter Registration account from the activation link that will be automatically sent to your email (this email may go into your junk folder).
  • If you are having trouble creating your account, receiving the activation email, or logging in, you may contact support at registration@arbitersports.com or call 800-311-4060.
• Once you have successfully created your account and are logged in, please complete your registration.
• You must upload the completed physical of the student athlete that is signed by the doctor.

Access Athletic Physical Forms

REMINDER: All students must have a completed Athletic Physical signed by the doctor on or after May 1, 2026 to participate.

Once you have completed your registration, you will receive an email notification to let you know we have received your registration. Students MUST be registered and cleared to be eligible for participation.

If the entire registration process is not complete and approved, student athletes will not be able to participate and try out.

Athletic Registration Information

Have you registered for fall sports? Registration for high school fall sports closes on August 1, 2026. Students may not try out or participate in practices until they are registered and all required forms have been uploaded and approved.

Per P.I.A.A. rules, any student who participates in interscholastic sports must have a physical completed after May 1st, 2026 on a completed P.I.A.A. physical form. Physical forms can be found on our website, the high school office, and the middle school office.

Athletic Physical Registration

Please Note:  The athletic department will be moving to Arbiter for athletic registrations.  You will receive notification from the Athletic office when the registration link is active for the 26-27 school year.  Student-athletes and parents must keep the physical form after they receive the physical as that form must be uploaded to Arbiter when sports registration is active.

Student-athletes may also receive their physicals through their primary care physician.

Athletic Physical Form

• The Athletic Department should afford the opportunity for all students who desire to participate. This does not mean students must play in every athletic contest.
• All coaches are expected to promote the broad educational development of youth.  Coaches are in a position to exert considerable influence in guiding youth and encouraging them to achieve the highest level of their potential.
• Athletics should provide an opportunity to extend students' interest beyond the classroom experience within and outside the community.
• Athletics should provide an opportunity to develop skills and attitudes that can be employed to daily life.
• Athletics should help athletes develop a sense of sportsmanship.
• Athletics should help athletes develop qualities of leadership.
• Athletics should help athletes realize the value of hard work.  The participants' experience in an athletic program should help them come to the realization that hard work does not guarantee success but rather is an integral part of realizing any objective.
• Athletics should develop an appreciation for individual excellence and making maximum contribution to team, school, profession, and vocation.
• Athletics should provide an opportunity for all athletes to excel to their maximum ability.
• Athletics should provide a program that lends to the morale of the entire school and community.
• Athletics should provide an opportunity for the community to view students in a variety of activities outside the classroom.
• Athletics should provide an opportunity for student-athletes to develop an appreciation of the enjoyment of the contest.

This information is to help with the coordination for senior recognition activities. We are excited to recognize all of our seniors in an orderly fashion while keeping our primary focus on the competition of the game.

Please be reminded of the following regarding senior recognition:

1. In advance of senior recognitions, an invitation letter will be sent home with senior student athletes to notify family members of the recognition event. Enclosed will be two complimentary tickets to the competition where admission is charged.
2. We are very happy to recognize our seniors on the team but playing time or starting roles are not guaranteed. This is solely a recognition of our seniors’ commitment to their respective athletic teams during their career at Pottsgrove.
3. Event setup may happen prior to a game. However, if a game is taking place prior to the event, setup will be limited until that game is over.
4. The Athletic Department is not responsible for senior recognition props including materials. Materials include but are not limited to: balloons, streamers, posters, zip ties, ladders, tape, scissors, string, and etc.
5. The Athletic Department will provide the following:

• Scheduling the event and game management
• Flowers and a spirit wear item for each senior athlete and their family
• Announcer and organization of the senior recognition
• Speakers for announcements and recognition
• A photographer to capture recognition moments
• Pictures shared through Pottsgrove School District social media outlets

Team Poster Information:
The Athletic Department does not purchase individual or team banners for senior recognitions. These have been purchased by organizations with the coach and or senior team parents.

• Individual banners will not be limited in size and do not have to be purchased by all seniors. Individual choice if a banner is purchased or not.
• Team banners will be limited to a size of 3’ x 6’ if they would like to be donated back to the school to be placed in the athletic hallway.
• Banners may be purchased for senior nights using any vendor.
