Welcome to Mrs. Snyder's School Counseling Website!
I began my school counseling career at West Pottsgrove Elementary School in 2003. I have the joy of working with students through classroom lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling. I collaborate with teachers and families to best meet the needs of students.
I completed my Master's Degree in Social Work at Marywood University in 2002 and received an Elementary School Counseling certificate from West Chester University in 2003. I began my career as a social worker and worked with children of all ages facing emotional challenges.
I have 13-year-old twin boys in 7th grade.
A variety of small groups are available to students who may benefit from spending some extra time developing social and emotional skills along with their peers and for students who are coping with similar life situations. Groups can have anywhere from 3-8 members and usually meet during lunch.
Some students can benefit from one-on-one counseling regarding academic, social, or emotional challenges.
All students may request to see me at any time. I receive referrals to meet with students through communications with parents, teachers, and administrators. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child. I understand raising a child is both rewarding and, at times, a humbling experience. I am here to support your child.
