Hello, my name is Herb Carter and I have been teaching Social Studies here at Pottsgrove for the past 15 years.  I have had the privilege of teaching all 3 Social Studies grades (6-8) throughout my time here at Pottsgrove.  I am currently teaching 7th grade Social Studies & have a Master's Degree in Education.  I look forward to teaching your child this year.

Supplies for class:

  1. Pack of pens or pencils
  2. 1 folder
  3. 2 one subject notebooks (Spiral or composition notebook is fine)
  4. Charged I-pad (i-pad is issued by the school) - but you will need to charge it at night
  5. Hand held pencil sharpener (if your child is planning on using pencils in class)
  6. Highlighter
