Mrs. Autumn Kelly
I earned a Secondary Math Education degree as well as a Master's in Adolescent Development from the University of Maryland (Go Terps!). During my undergraduate years, I was a member of the University of Maryland Field Hockey team that won a National Championship in 1999 and 4 ACC titles. I spent my junior year of college touring with the U.S. National Field Hockey team before returning to finish my degree. In 2001, I was named ACC MVP and was honored to receive the Honda Award for the top player in Division 1 field hockey.
After undergrad, I spent 9 years teaching and coaching high school field hockey in Montgomery County, MD. I taught Algebra 1, Geometry, IB Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus before moving back to my home town in PA in 2012. For the next 8 years I taught 8th Grade Math, Algebra 1, and Honors Geometry at Pottsgrove Middle School. I worked with an amazing group of teachers as the Math Department Chair.
I am a very proud mom of 6 amazing kids (and a new English Mastiff puppy). Caleb (11), Hannah (10), Keegan (9), Sophie (7), Becca (5), and Jonah (3) keep our hands and hearts full at all times. My husband, Tim, is a high school math teacher as well. He teaches Pre-Calculus, Stat, and AP Statistics at Pennridge High School.
I am thrilled to be teaching at Pottsgrove High School. I can't wait to re-connect with former students and meet new ones along the way!
