Welcome to the Pottsgrove Middle School Library
The Pottsgrove Middle School Library is dedicated to supporting information literacy and
promoting the enjoyment of reading as a lifelong habit.
Our library is proud to offer 15,000 print books to our students and over 400 ebook. There are also 26 computers with internet access. We subscribe to The Pottstown Mercury.
The Pottsgrove Middle School Library is a member of ACCESS PA which allows our students and faculty to obtain books from other libraries throughout Pennsylvania.
Hours and Policies
The Middle School Library is open from 8:00-3:15 p.m. Students are encouraged to visit the library throughout the day. Use of the library during 9th period is limited to those student who make reservations prior to 1:30. Students must sign in and out of the library at all times.
Loan period: Books and magazines loaned for a three week period (books may be renewed once)
Reference Material is loaned overnight only
***Covid-19 information***
We will be limiting circulation of print books during remote learing. When we return to school, we will allow print book circulation on a limited basis. Books will be quarantined for 3 days when they are returned. We encourage the circulation of the eBooks that are available in Destiny.
Ebooks can be accessed, checked out and read using the DESTINY DISCOVER app. Students can access Destiny Discover here. The user name for DESTINY DISCOVER is their Network username, the password is their Network Password.
