    Friday 5/24 - Mr. Hayes

    All 8th grade band members must report to the band room today at 8:15.  Attention all band members: Report time for the pep rally is 1:15.

     

    Friday 5/24 - Coach Bailey & Coach Pysher

    The 7th and 8th grade combined softball team finished off their season on a winning note by handily defeating their crosstown rival, Pottstown.  Aryanna Bodge went the 5 inning distance stiking out 9 in a game shortened by the ten run rule. Final score 14 to 4. Not only did Aryanna set the tone on the mound she also did it with her bat going 4 for 4 with two hard hit doubles and two hard hit singles and 4 runs batted in. Lizzie McAllister had a double with two ribbies and Avery Gleason had three smash hits as well. Caitlin LoPresti had a hit and an R B I as well. The Final records...The 7th grade team was 3 and 0.  The 8th grade team was 1 and 1. The combined 7th & 8th grade team was 10 and 2. The overall softball record was 14 and 3. Congratulations to all of the softball players on one of the most successful seasons here at Pottsgrove Middle School in a decade. WAY TO GO LADIES!!!!

     

    Friday 5/24- Coach Palladino

    Yesterday the 8th grade baseball team finished their season the same way they started it, with a win over Pottstown by a score of 8-5.  Starting pitcher Nick Freese went 4 strong and Gabe Rinda closed it out stepping up in a huge way. The Pottsgrove offense was led by Zach Tyson, Ryan Van Bramer and Gabe Rinda.  Brendan O’Brien took his game to another level contributing 3 hits and multiple flashy plays in center field. Great season gentlemen, keep working hard during the summer!

     

    Thursday and Friday 5/23-4-  Mrs. Ward

    ATTENTION - all semester 1 sewing students-

    Please stop by room 315 during period 9 on Thursday or Friday to pick up any projects left behind.  Projects not picked up by Tuesday 5/28 will be disposed of or recycled. Thank you!

     

    Thursday 5/23 through 5/24- Ms. Kratz and Mrs. Eaton

    ATTENTION:  Any 6th or 7th grade student who would like to run for Student Government Officer next year, MUST have their paper signed and returned to Ms. Kratz or Mrs. Eaton by this Friday, May 24th.  Videos are due no later than Friday, May 31st. Remember the video can only be 30 seconds in length, include the position you are running for and your name. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Eaton or Ms. Kratz.



    Wednesday 5/23 through Wednesday 5/29-Mrs. Koch

    Attention any 8th grade girl interested in cheering for the high school for the 2019-2020 school year.  Cheerleading tryouts will be held May 29th and May 30th from 6:00-8:00 in the high school gym. Please come to tryouts wearing Pottsgrove colors, t-shirt (no tanks), shorts, sneakers, hair in a ponytail, and any white or maroon bow.

    attention any 6th or 7th grade girl interested in cheering for the middle school for the 19-20 school year.  Cheerleading tryouts will be held May 28th-May 30th from 3:00-5:15 in the middle school gym. Please wear sneakers, t-shirts, leggings and/or shorts.




    Wednesday 5/23-Friday 5/25 - Ms. Lawless and Officer Millard

    The last Student Coalition meeting of the school year will be held next Wednesday, May 29th in room 102. Hope to see you there!
