One part of every PGMS student's math learning is an online resource called Cognitive Tutor. This resource is used regularly in our six-day cycle, but is also available anywhere a student has an internet connection. We encourage students to use Cognitive Tutor to support their math learning. It is much more than a collection of electronic worksheets! Cognitive Tutor helps identify any gaps and then strategically provides learning opportunities, including explanations and supports, to reinforce understanding.
I've attached a flyer with a free online webinar sponsored by Carnegie to help parents use Cognitive Tutor effectively at home. The webinar takes place online starting at 6:00 PM on Wednesday October 29th.
