    Current Courses:

    Concert Choir

    Open to all 9th to 12th Grade students. We perform at the Winter and Spring Concerts each year. Our Concert Choir features the vocal talents of all students whether they plan to pursue music as a career, college major, or simply for the enjoyment of the content.

     

    Women's Choir

    Students audition for this class each spring. Students must have a treble range voice to audition and must show strong musicianship skills in sight-reading and harmonization. The Women's Choir performs at various community and school events in addition to the Winter and Spring Concerts. Students must be members of the Concert Choir in order to participate in Women's Choir.

     

    Advanced Choir

    Students audition for this class each spring. Students must audition and must show strong musicianship skills in sight-reading and harmonization. The Advanced Choir performs at various community and school events in addition to the Winter and Spring Concerts. Students must be members of the Concert Choir in order to participate in Women's Choir.

     

    Guitar

    Students learn the basics of guitar method, theory, and playing techniques. Beginning with basic chords and charts, advancing to reading notation, intro to bass guitar technique, and eventually progressing into barre chords and more complex melody/soloing.

     

    Lifeskills Music Class

    This class is based heavily on music therapy techniques with hands-on playing instruments, singing, and responding creatively to music.
