Our Mission

The mission of the Pottsgrove School District is to provide high quality experiences that educate, engage, and empower students to achieve their fullest potential.

2025–2026 District Goals

Safe, Engaged Students Achieving at High Levels

Goal: 

To enhance the overall educational experience and foster a positive, high-performing school culture by systematically evaluating and improving the effectiveness of curriculum, instruction, and assessment, while actively supporting staff professional development and engagement.

Action Items:

  1. Curricular Alignment: Conduct a district-wide, systematic review of core curriculum (ELA, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) to ensure alignment of curriculum, assessments, and instruction to Pennsylvania Academic Standards.
  2. Co-Teaching Model: Implement a co-teaching pilot for the delivery of special education services.
  3. Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS): Continue implementation of MTSS across all schools.
  4. Instructional Coaching: Continue implementation of the instructional coaching model.
  5. Project Management: Continue to improve safety, security, and operations through effective implementation and management of new and existing systems.
  6. Communication: Develop additional opportunities to sustain engagement among staff, students, and community members.

Performance Metrics:

  • Completion of action items
  • Student Achievement: Increase the percentage of multiple metrics (Student Achievement, Growth, and Comparison Group metrics) categorized as Above or Well Above from the 2026 Spring PSSA/Keystone Exam data, exceeding 2025 levels.

Reporting:

Action Items

  • Review of action plan progress with the Board at least quarterly
  • Presentation of plan progress at CIT Committee meetings (Fall and Spring)

Student Achievement

  • 2025 PSSA/Keystone Exam data will be presented to the CIT Committee as it becomes available.
  • 2026 PSSA/Keystone Exam data will be presented to the CIT Committee as it becomes available.
