Welcome to Pottsgrove School District's Pre-K Counts Program!

Partnering with YWCA Tri-County Area

We are thrilled to announce that Pottsgrove School District has partnered with YWCA Tri-County Area to bring the Pre-K Counts program to our community. This initiative aims to nurture early childhood development through a blend of innovative curriculum and community involvement. By combining our resources and expertise, we are establishing a strong foundation for lifelong learning among our youngest learners.

Location

  • Address: Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School
  • Capacity: Up to 15 preschool students from the Pottsgrove School District

Eligibility

  • Ages: 3-5 years old
  • Income: Families earning up to 300% of the federal poverty level

    2025 Federal Poverty Level Guidelines Based on Annual Income

*Acceptance into the program is not guaranteed and is based on income, residency, and other factors.  If your child is not accepted into the program but is eligible, you will be offered a spot on a waiting list and given other program recommendations.  When spots become available, then the applicants with the highest scores will be offered the next available spot.

  • Cost: No cost to families
  • Meals: Free lunch provided daily
  • Schedule: Classes run Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Transportation: Bus transportation provided to and from the program for PGSD preschoolers
