We learned about Tony Sarg, well known for inventing the balloons in the Thanksgiving parade. We read the book Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet. You can see the book by clicking on this link. We created book characters to put in our own parade. If we had time, we introduced the characters in the parade.
