  • Played 1 year of Basketball and 4 years of Softball at Ursinus College, where she earned her B.S. in Exercise & Sport Science.
  • She was 3x Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2005, 2006 & 2007.
  • Was elected to both the Ursinus and Tri County Hall of Fames in 2017.
  • Currently teaches Health & Physical Education at Spring Ford Area High School.
  • Coaches Field Hockey, Bowling, and Softball.

  • Led Softball team to Pioneer Athletic Conference Championship
  • Led team and still holds record for hits, steals and runs scored.
  • Attended Penn State University on a softball scholarship and earned her kinesiology degree. She was team captain in 2002 & 2003.  4 year starting outfielder.
  • Holds the PSU career record for stolen bases, hits, runs scored and games played.
  • Earned 1st Team All Big Ten in 2002 and All Academic in 2002 & 2003.
  • Served as Assistant Coach for the Pittsburgh Panthers for 14 years and now operates her own Athletic Performance Company in Pittsburgh.

  • Attended Lock Haven University where she received her degree in Health & Physical Education.
  • Played both Varsity Softball and Tennis.
  • Won PA State Tennis Singles Championship in her junior and senior years.
  • Is in her 34th year of teaching Health & PE at Pottsgrove High School.
  • Daughter of former Pottsgrove teacher and Athletic Director, Ralph Murgia.

  • Career Receiving record of 1,942 yards
  • 84 Receptions for 28 touchdowns, 23.1 yard average per reception
  • Ches-Mont Offensive Player of the Year
  • 1st All-League in Football and Basketball
  • 1st Team All-State in Football
  • Awarded a full scholarship to play football at the College of William & Mary, where he received his degree in Business.
  • Named ECAC Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1980. Set W & M single game record for receiving yards with 211 vs Richmond on 11 catches.  Graduated with 1,986 career-receiving yards and 141 receptions which ranks him in 10th all time record for receptions and 13th in school history for receiving yards.
  • 3 year starting Wide Receiver at W & M and served as captain his senior year.
  • Drafted by the New York Giants.
  • Inducted into Pottsgrove Football Hall of Fame in 2015 and the College of William & Mary Hall of Fame in 2018.

  • Scored 1575 points, most in school history
  • Led Basketball team to a Pottsgrove record 29-5, most wins in school history
  • Named Ches-Mont Most Valuable Player of the Year – 1976-77 & 1977-78
  • Named Most Valuable Player in the Conrad Weiser Christmas Tournament
  • Named to All-League 1st Team – 2 years, All-Suburban 1st Team – 2 years, All Philadelphia Team 2nd Team, and Honorable Mention All-State
  • Finished 3rd in the 1978 Ches-Mont Singles Tennis Championships
  • Attended Drexel University where he was a 4-year starter, playing in 111 career games. Named ECAC Rookie of the Year, 2nd Team All-East Coast Conference, and Region II Academic All-American in 1882.
  • Drafted in the 10th round by the Philadelphia 76ers, played 3 years in Argentina.
  • Winner of the Thomas Greene Award as the Outstanding Drexel Athlete
  • Received his BA from Drexel in 1982 and his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Spent the past three decades working for a number of Financial and Securities Divisions in a variety of companies.
